After learning about parasites in nature, Sheldon decides to conduct a human experiment. He convinces his reluctant older brother, Georgie, to be his “host.” Sheldon attaches himself to Georgie for an entire day, following him everywhere—to school, to work, to hang out with friends—documenting how a “parasite” (himself) affects the host’s energy, social life, and efficiency. Georgie quickly tires of being followed by his nerdy little brother, leading to comedic clashes. Meanwhile, Mary is torn between scolding Sheldon for being annoying and secretly enjoying that he’s spending time with Georgie.

Missy notices that their parents, Mary and George, pay far more attention to Sheldon’s quirks and Georgie’s troubles. To get some one-on-one time with her dad, she asks George to take her on a father-daughter picnic. George, who is exhausted and distracted by work and family drama, agrees but puts zero effort into planning. The picnic ends up being a disaster: wrong location, forgotten food, and a sudden rainstorm. Missy feels hurt and unimportant, leading to an emotional outburst where she calls out her parents for always prioritizing her brothers. This forces Mary and George to confront their unintentional neglect.
