Recently, I got my hands on the Blu-ray release of Young Sheldon Season 3, and I found myself glued to the ninth episode:

By Season 3, the writers had perfected the balance between Sheldon’s academic antics and the family’s grounded struggles. Episode 9 is a classic "tornado in a teacup" plot. The episode revolves around Sheldon discovering a "parasite" (a stray cat) living in his bedroom window, while George Sr. deals with a nest of literal wires in the garage.

On the Blu-ray, the laugh track is noticeably quieter (thankfully), and the ambient sounds of Medford, Texas—the crickets, the train whistle, the clanking of Meemaw’s kitchen—are crisp. During the cat-chasing sequence in E09, the surround sound separation is genuinely hilarious.
