Sheldon becomes obsessed with building his own "supercomputer" (a Texas Instruments-99/4A, for the nerds out there) to run Hammurabi , a primitive economics game. When he realizes he doesn’t have the money, he starts doing other people’s homework for cash – pure, unregulated capitalism from a 9-year-old. Mary’s horrified. George Sr. is oddly proud. Just re-watched from the BD5 rip – and honestly, this might be the most quietly important episode of the first season. 🖥️🍺

Meemaw goes on a date with Dr. Sturgis (her eventual boyfriend). It’s awkward, sweet, and sets up one of the best dynamics of the series. Watching her get vulnerable is rare and wonderful.

8.5/10 – a low-key classic.
