“Interesting,” Tecna said, typing rapidly into her handheld device. “The code wasn’t lost. It was dormant . According to my scan, the letters and numbers have reconstituted themselves into a security encryption for a hidden file on your laptop, Bloom. It’s been there for years.”
“Worse,” Bloom said. “This DVD came with a magical coupon code for an exclusive behind-the-scenes transformation tutorial—how to perfect your Charmix without accidentally setting the curtains on fire. I never used it. And now it’s gone.”
Bloom entered the code into the DVD’s bonus features menu. A hidden folder unlocked, revealing a new, never-before-seen video: “How to Cast a Flame of Gratitude – A Lost Lesson from Daphne.”
