I recently watched/read Security Main Devar , and while the concept is unique, the execution left me with mixed feelings.
The storyline flips traditional family dynamics. The devar (played convincingly by the lead actor) isn't just the usual comic relief or scheming brother-in-law—he takes up a security job to protect his bhabhi (brother's wife) from real threats. His loyalty, silent sacrifices, and action sequences are genuinely engaging. The emotional scene where he explains why security is his “dharma” hits hard.
