Yogi gets himself into hot water (literally) when he tries to impress his girlfriend, Cindy, by stealing a picnic basket from the Ranger’s car. As punishment, Ranger Smith decides to send him to the San Diego Zoo. The rest of the film is a cross-country chase as Yogi and Boo-Boo try to make their way home, only to discover Cindy has been dognapped (bear-napped?) by a greedy circus owner.
