Written by Diablo Cody ( Juno ) and directed by Karyn Kusama ( Girlfight ), the film follows Needy Lesnicky (Amanda Seyfried), a bookish teen, and her dangerously charismatic best friend, Jennifer Check (Megan Fox), a wannabe rock-star muse.
