How To Connect: My Xbox To My Laptop With Hdmi ((link))

Hey everyone, quick question. I’m trying to connect my Xbox to my laptop so I can use the laptop screen to play. I have an HDMI cable, but when I plug it in, nothing happens. The laptop doesn’t seem to detect the Xbox.
