The ghosts split into search parties: Thor, Sasappis, and Isaac search the woods (Isaac complains about bugs, Thor shouts at the sky). Alberta and Hetty search the mansion’s grounds (Hetty reluctantly removes her shoes to “feel the earth”). Pete and Trevor check the barn (Trevor freaks out over hay chaff).

The episode opens right after the Season 2 finale: Sam and Jay return from the hospital, where Sam has just had her appendix removed.
