The Griffins decide to climb Mount Everest after Lois wants the family to have a memorable adventure. Peter, of course, turns the climb into a series of ridiculous shortcuts and bad decisions. Meanwhile, Stewie and Brian have a subplot involving a yeti. The episode parodies the 1996 Mount Everest disaster (including references to Jon Krakauer’s Into Thin Air ).
